B2B wholesale platform for building materials, Yojak has raised $3.8 million in its pre-Series A round led by Info Edge Ventures. Existing backers Kae Capital and Arun Venkatachallam along with the founders of B2B startups such as Zetwerk, MedikaBazaar, Bizongo and Blackbuck have also participated in the round.
According to the Gurugram-based startup, the fresh capital will be used in team-building across tech and non-tech roles, developing tech solutions and expanding its presence into new markets and categories.
Floated by Rachit Garg and Anuj Jain, Yojak is an online marketplace to buy and sell building material online. It helps retailers or wholesalers in the industry to purchase through a transport online channel directly from the manufacturers.
Two-year-old Yojak claims to have scaled ten-fold its growth in the last 12 months.
The lead investor in this round, Info Edge Ventures has made 6 investments in 2021 including QuickSell, Truemeds, Airblack, Skylark Drones, Shiprocket and Zingbu.
