Funding in Indian startups this week (11 May-16 May)

This week 14 Indian startups raised funding, of which 7 received a total sum of about $65 million. Among them, SirionLabs raised the highest funding of about $44 million followed by Shiprocket which raised $13 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 7 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week

SirionLabs: Enterprise-focused software-as-a-service provider, SirionLabs, has raised $44 million in its Series C round led by Tiger Global and Avatar Growth Capital.

Shiprocket: Logistics aggregator for D2C sellers, Shiprocket has picked up $13 million in a Series C round led by Tribe Capital LLC. Venture debt firm Innoven Capital and existing investor Bertelsmann India Investments also participated in the round.

Pariksha: Pune based exam preparation platform Pariksha has raised around $0.27 million in a bridge funding round from a group of existing investors.

Vogo: Scooter rental startup Vogo has raised around $0.27 million as a part of Series C round from Spice Group CEO  Dilip Modi’s Exponentially I Mobility LLP.

Intello Apps: Artificial intelligence-focussed agricultural technology startup Intello Labs has raised $5.9 million in its Series A funding round led by Saama Capital.

Juicy Chemistry: Consumer brand focussed on organic-based skincare products, Juicy Chemistry, has raised $0.65 million in its angel funding round from Amit Nanavati.

Doceree: Health-technology firm focussed on physician engagement, Doceree, has raised $1 million in its seed funding round.

Undisclosed deals this week

DeepTek, VastraApp, Charge+Zone, Scribble Data, Spyne, Refrens and GroCurv did not disclose their financial details on funding.
