Funding in Indian startups this week (27 Jan-01 Feb)

This week 15 Indian startups raised funding, of which 13 received a total sum of about $192 million. Among them, MoneyTap raised the highest funding of about $70 million followed by Vogo, which raised $35 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 2 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week

Doubtnut: Multilingual instant doubt clearing app Doubtnut has secured $15 million in a Series A round led by Tencent. Existing investors, Omidyar Network India, Japan-based AET Sequoia Capital India and Ankit Nagori participated in the round.

Vogo: Scooter-sharing startup Vogo has raised around $35 million in a Series C round led by impact investment fund Lightstone Aspada along with participation from existing investors.

Oye! Rickshaw: App-based electric rickshaw hailing service Oye! Rickshaw has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures along with the participation of Xiaomi and Pawan Munjal.

InterviewBit: Income-sharing agreement (ISA) startup InterviewBit has secured $20 million in a Series A round led by Sequoia Capital India and New York-based hedge fund Tiger Global along with Global Founders Capital also participated.

MoneyTap: Fintech consumer lending startup MoneyTap has secured $70 million in a Series B funding round led by Aquiline Technology Growth (ATG), RTP Global, and Sequoia India. Existing investors, including Prime Venture Partners and MegaDelta, also participated.

Bizongo: B2B marketplace for providing packaging solution for e-commerce, logistics, cosmetics and others, Bizongo has raised $30 million in its Series C round led by Switzerland-based hedge fund Schroder Adveq. 

AdOnMo: Indian digital out-of-home (OOH) advertising startup AdOnMo has raised $3 million in a new funding round led by Alibaba-backed BAce Capital along with Astarc Ventures and Mumbai Angels Network also participated.

Zetwerk: Business-to-business platform for custom manufacturing Zetwork has secured $2.2 million from InnoVen Capital.

WizKlub: Edtech startup WizKlub has secured $1 million in a seed round led by Incubate Fund India along with Insitor Impact Asia Fund also participated.

Kisan Network: Agri-focused integrated supply chain startup Kisan Network has raised $3 million in a seed round led by Mistletoe.

Yolo: Inter-city transportation and mobility platform Yolo, has raised $0.6 million in a seed round from undisclosed investors.

CureSkin: Consumer healthcare startup CureSkin has raised $0.5 million in funding led by Gurugram-based SenseAI Ventures.

Unotech Software: Enterprise technology startup Unotech Software has raised $2 million in Series A round from Manish Choksi.

Undisclosed deals this week

MultiplyMyLeads and SEAL Professional did not disclose their financial details on funding.
