Funding in Indian startups this week (25 Nov-30 Nov)

This week 15 Indian startups raised funding, of which 12 received a total sum of about $1308 million ($1.3 billion). Among them, Paytm raised the highest funding of  $1 billion followed by PharmEasy, which raised $220 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 3 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

GoMechanic: Automobile repair and service solution provider GoMechanic has received $5 million from existing backer Sequoia Capital.

Acko: Digital insurance provider Acko has raised about $36 million from existing backer Binny Bansal and private equity firm Ascent Capital.

Paytm: Digital payments major Paytm has raised $1 billion in a funding round led by US-based asset management firm T Rowe Price.

PharmEasy: e-pharmacy startup PharmEasy has raised $220 million in the latest funding round led by Temasek at a valuation of about $700 million.

Yulu: Bicycle and electric scooter rental startup Yulu has raised $8 million in a funding round led by Bajaj Auto.

Blackbuck: Online B2B logistics solutions marketplace Blackbuck has raised about $8 million in a mixed round of equity and debt fund from Trifecta Venture.

Mosaic Wellness: Consumer brand-focused startup Mosaic Wellness has raised $10 million in its maiden round of funding led by SAIF Partners, Sequoia India, and Matrix Partners.

Kamatan: Agri supply chain startup Kamatan has secured $4.2 million in a debt and equity financing round from Samunnati Agro Solutions along with existing investor Elevar Equity.

Gully Network Retail: Tech-enabled chain for small kirana stores, Gully Network Retail, has raised $0.7 million in a seed funding round from Orios Venture Partners.

Holisol Logistics: Delhi-based Holisol Logistics has raised $2.8 million in asset financing from BlackSoil Capital.

Just Herbs: Ayurvedic beauty brand Just Herbs has raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Mumbai-based Roots Ventures.

Tookitaki: Enterprise tech start-up Tookitaki has raised $11.7 million in an extended Series A round from Viola Fintech, SIG Asia Investment, Nomura Holdings and others.

Undisclosed deals this week

FirstU, WonDRx, Loanzen  did not disclose their financial details on funding.
