In what could be a gamechanger for MSMEs and SMBs, Instamojo has launched a learning and innovative platform – Mojoversity.

With this learning initiative by the Bengaluru-based firm, Mojoversity wants to play a big role in MSMEs participating in the digital economy.

Mojoversity provides online video courses created by experts on the topic ranging from digital marketing, social media, finance, taxation, marketing and several other topics that a budding entrepreneur wanted to learn in quick time.

The platform simply allows learning on the go on any device in 60 minutes.

According to a social media update by its Co-Founder and CEO Sampad Swain, the firm has been working behind the project since early 2019. In less than 6 months, Moversity is live with few courses and about 500 chapters are completed & 60 plus hrs of content have been consumed.

Importantly, these courses are free of cost.

To make it more interesting, Mojoversity has enabled quiz format where users can take the quiz at the end of the course to unlock their certificate.

In this way, Mojoversity set a big target and aims to create more than 100,000 confident digital entrepreneurs in the next 3-5 years.

The firm has collaborated with expert partners like LegalWiz, DeAsra, Domination Labs and more and it has also onboarded tax experts, accounting specialists, and marketing gurus to make it easy for all

The seven-year-old startup has been known for its experiments and launching products for SMEs such as mojoPayments, mojoXpress, and mojoCapital. It has made payments collection, sourcing, and lending easy for micro-merchants, infopreneurs, freelancers, and SMBs.

So far, it claims to power over 800,000 small businesses in India with flagship payment products, payment links, and other value-added services like online store, shipping, working capital loans, and long term loans.

For the future, the firm aims to onboard over 1.3 million merchants on the platform in FY20, go bullish on the mobile platform, launch more VAS like commerce, payments, and lending, and create communities for MSMEs.

While this is too early to say about the new product, it will be interesting to see how MSMEs and SMBs adopt and leverage the learning platform for forward thinking entrepreneurs – Mojoversity.
