Search engine giant Google is now launching an app exclusive for Indian bloggers called ‘Blog Compass’.

The app functions with both Blogger.com, which is own by Google, and WordPress. It is currently in beta stage and shows 500 downloads on the Play store. Even though limited users have trialled Blog Compass, the app seems to have an average positive response from users.

Entrackr also looked into the latest app and found its design simple. After initial log-in formality, app’s opens with tabs sections like Home, Trending, Activity, Topics and Badges for navigation.

Google has been also reportedly planning to enter the Indian e-commerce ecosystem for the last one year. The search giant has been associated with around 2,000 workshops which are helping the company identify sellers on its e-commerce platform. It has also partnered with business chambers for digital programmes.
