This week in Indian Startups funding news (Sep 18-23)

This week 19 startups received funding, out of which 14 were disclosed, who in total made a sum of $330.55 million. Among them, Flipkart raised highest investment of $156.2 million, followed by HighRadius, which raised about $50 million.

Meanwhile, five out of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

List of disclosed funding deals this week

The Moms Co: Gurgaon-based mom and baby care consumer goods startup The Moms Co. has raised $1 million (Rs. 6.5cr) in Series A funding round led by DSG Consumer Partners and Saama Capital.

MamaEarth: Delhi-based MamaEarth, an online baby care products startup, has raised $1 million from existing investors Fireside Ventures, along with other VC’s.

Power2SME: Gurugram-based Power2SME, a B2B online buying club for small and medium enterprises, has raised an additional $36 million funding in a Series E round from its existing investors Inventus Capital, Accel, Kalaari and IFC along with Nandan Nilekani.

Securonix: Big data security analytics company Securonix has raised $29 million in Series A round led by Volition Capital and Eight Road Ventures.

HighRadius: Hyderabad-based Fintech startup HighRadius has secured $50 million funding from Susquehanna Growth Equity.

Yatra.com: Nasdaq-listed online travel company Yatra has raised Rs 100 crore from Singapore’s Temasek-backed InnoVen Capital, which is India’s largest venture debt transaction to date.

Siksha Finance: An NBFC firm has raised $2.5 million in debt and equity round.

Flipkart India: Flipkart has raised $156.2 million in debt funding

Typeset: Typeset.io, a writing platform that allows authors to communicate their research effectively has raised $0.85 million in pre-Series A round.

Homergize: Bangalore-based Homergize, a sourcing, and services company catering to the construction and remodeling industry has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A round of investment from LG Chandrasekhar, the chairman of Sutures India.

Save Solutions: Gaya-based financial services firm Save Solutions Pvt. Ltd has raised $6 million in a Series A round of funding from Belgium-based impact investor Incofin Investment Management.

Shortlist: A recruitment tech startup has raised $1 million in a seed funding round.

Blue Lotus Capital: An asset management company focusing on private investments in public enterprises (PIPE) strategy, has raised $15 million for its second outing, the Blue Lotus Capital Multibagger Fund.

Brick Eagle Capital Advisory: Brick Eagle Capital Advisory has received $15.6 million anchor commitment each from Bennett Property Holdings and Axis Bank for its Alternative Investment Fund.

Undisclosed deals this week:

SaaS-based staff communication platform Noticeboard, Online sports gaming platform GamingMonk, e-commerce enabler platform Ace Turtle, product development company iauro Systems and Healthtech HealWell24 did not disclose their funding amount.
